Building Life Rules - WIP
Dec 8, 2025
I'm building something I'm calling a "life's guide"—basically a collection of wisdom that actually helps me navigate the messy, complicated parts of being human.
I started with Marcus Aurelius' Meditations because, honestly, a Roman Emperor writing personal notes to himself 2,000 years ago somehow gets what it's like to deal with stress, difficult people, and self-doubt better than most modern self-help books. What I love about his approach is that he's not preaching from some enlightened mountaintop—he's reminding himself of the same lessons over and over, which feels incredibly relatable.
As I document these insights, I'm realizing this isn't just about collecting quotes; it's about creating a practical framework I can actually turn to when life throws curveballs. This is like my own operating system for living better.
